Welcome to Reception
Expectations
- Our door opening times are 8.25am – 8.35am in the morning and our first lesson begins at 8.40am so please be on time. Our doors open at 3pm at the end of the day.
- It is essential that your child’s uniform is clearly labelled with their full name.
- Your child will bring home a reading book, we appreciate your support in reading and talking about the book. Can your child retell the story? Please read with your child as often as you can.
- Our PE day is on a Friday, please ensure your child comes to school in their full PE kit with any earrings removed.

To enhance our curriculum, we use the ‘Alexandra Promise’, a series of enrichment opportunities for all children to experience whilst with us.
